A little over a year ago, I had a meeting with an up and coming interior designer, Chelsea Brennan. I met with Chelsea at the house which was nearing completion and we walked the house because the main focus was window coverings and finding an artist for a custom piece in the living area. Chelsea has an approach and style that is truly remarkable…she listens and really wants to communicate the vision of her clients. And a little bit about me I was living in Pennsylvania, so I flew back and what started with Brennan Interiors was a process that painlessly was done via our smartphones! I would look at samples and pictures via texts and make my decisions. I started to enjoy the process! So, scope creep happened…and I started to think about the new construction home and if my current things at the house in Pennsylvania would work in the new one. I sent over a video to Chelsea to view and she was very kind and thoughtful with the review however, I decided that more things needed to happen like new furniture in the living area, office furniture, bedding, décor, etc….so Chelsea with a smile stepped up and took on the challenge with me living 2200 miles away with our smartphones connected in which she would send me three top choices of items room-by-room for me to pick the one I wanted. Interestingly, nearly every time I selected the one she liked too! Working with a partner, there has to be trust and this is what sealed the deal for me to do the whole house with Chelsea! She made the process not stressful at all. I never knew that a Creole style architecture home could be styled modern….it happened by the work of Chelsea. I wanted clean, simple, and modern but did not know how to accomplish. To be honest after the project was completed I still wanted to have the connection with my smartphone interior designer, Chelsea! Today, I still connect with her on additional projects for the house. I would definitely recommend Chelsea for your residential and commercial needs for interior design! She is a delight to work with and sincerely glad to call her a great friend, too!

First and foremost, working with Chelsea is an absolute pleasure! Her versatility, eye to design, and ability to create a unique space is always relevant when you see her work. She was able to take my own personal style that reflects me, while maintaining her design and attention to detail. Design is more than just paint and fixtures, it is also about functionality and durability.
When designing the salon, Chelsea was very thorough in selecting components that would have longevity for a high functioning commercial space and esthetically pleasing to the eye! She was able to listen to my ideas and streamline thoughts into a clear vision. We couldn’t be more happy with the end result!
When you walk through the doors of The Parlor House you know she was here! I can’t thank her enough for creating the perfect space that will be relevant for years to come!
